Elders in Action
on Sunday, August 30 at 2:05pm at the
Elder Friendly PGE Park
Portland Beavers vs. Tacoma Rainers
Tickets are $9.00 with a portion of ticket sales used to support our
Personal Advocate program.
Last year our Personal Advocate Volunteers assisted 3,561 individuals which was up 74% and recouped over $231,000 in cost recovery or avoidance.

Also remember that HOT SUMMER DAYS present special challenges for older adults. We all need to look after ourselves, our neighbors, and our pets. Please be a good neighbor and check on and help anyone living near you who may have difficulty coping with soaring temperatures.
Some ways to stay cool in hot weather:
- Stay hydrated
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure, over-exposure, over-exertion, and heavy meals
- Find a shady, well ventilated, or air conditioned space
