September 11 National Day of Service and Rememberance
President Barack Obama is asking Americans to volunteer to make this year's anniversary of the terrorist's attacks the first National Day of Service & Remembrance.
Elders in Action is a powerful voice of older adults in the greater Portland area. Our goal is to show you how your skills can ensure seniors will continue to be a vibrant part of their communities. One of the first and biggest benefits our volunteers realize is the satisfaction of incorporating service into their lives and making a difference in the lives of others. Consider Elders In Action as an on-going option to give back to your community.
Elders in Action offers many opportunities for volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of seniors in their community. If you are interested in volunteering with Elders in Action please fill out our online interest form and a
staff member will follow up with you. Elders in Action is having volunteer trainings in all of our major program this Fall.
