New Partners, Content & Focus
Elders in Action's Speakers Bureau program consists of a vibrant group of volunteers who reach out to older adults, civic groups, businesses and other non-profit organizations. We frequently partners with other organizations on various outreach opportunities. Here are some of our current speaker's bureau partnerships:

Walk Smart Campaign Partnership
Williamette Pedestrian Coalition
The Walk Smart Campaign is aimed at older adults in Multnomah and Washington Counties to explore their walking and transit options.
Ride Wise
Ride Connection
Ride Wise is a collaborative effort between Tri- Met, Ride Connection and other organizations to assist older adults and people with disabilities to travel independently.
Remembering When
Portland Fire Bureau
The Portland Fire Bureau and Elders in Action are committed to helping older adults reduce fire and fall injuries and deaths. Our volunteers are available to come out and speak to older adults about basic fire and fall prevention for the home using the nationally recognized Remembering When curriculum.
